WELCOME TO THE SAMPLE BIN

WHERE WE MAKE GRAIN SAMPLING...

SIMPLE!

Who We Are

Welcome to our website. We are the Krywko family and have been grain farmers in Alberta since 1988 and are proud to do what we do. Over the years we found ourselves in search of a better solution for storing and managing our grain samples. We needed a solution that was simple, manageable and most of all secure. After extensive research we realized there was nothing available to meet our needs, so we decided to create one. As an avid tinkerer with a mechanical background Brian Krywko started to research and develop a solution. After two years of trial and error, development of The Sample Bin was successfully completed, and we started using the product on our farm with great success.

The Sample Bin has now been in production and use for nearly 15 years with farms utilizing it all across the country. Due to our continued growth Brian’s daughter Amanda has begun to take on a more active role in the company helping to establish our online presence through social media and of course our new website.

Although our industry has changed immensely over time, there is one thing that remains constant and that is our attention to detail, the quality of our goods and our care for those who use our products. Please browse our site to get a better idea of what The Sample Bin is and how it can help you on your farm.

The Sample Bin

Each one of our Sample Bins are made of a polymer plastic that is rotationally molded right here on our farm. Each one is fitted and assembled for a product built with pride. The Sample Bin mounts easily to any surface, such as a corrugated bin, hopper leg or wall. Its design allows for superior strength and stability and comes with all mounting hardware. In the lid there is a conveniently located dry erase whiteboard with a pen. This allows you to record pertinent crop information. It holds approximately 30 liters/7.5 gallons of grain and the internal mechanism allows for easy dispensing into sample bags for grading, dockage, etc. Click here to see it in action. Although it is self-venting for sample integrity, it is resistant to contamination from the weather, rodents, and felines. It is also resistant to ultraviolet light.
